HONEY BANANA BREAD 
1 c. butter
3/4 c honey
2 eggs
1 c. over ripe mashed bananas
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped dates

Preheat oven to 350°F for 15 minutes before baking.

Cream butter and honey. Add eggs, then mashed bananas. Blend well. Add flour, soda and salt; mix well. Add pecans and dates and stir. Pour mixture into greased and floured 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.

Bake in a 350°F degree oven for 30 minutes or until done.

I tried this recipe yesterday and I would highly recommend baking it much longer. I did the 30 minutes suggested, tested it and it kept coming out clean. It came out of the pan clean and when I went to turn it back over it fell apart in my hands and raw batter erupted all over my hands, counter and floor. Only about 1 inch around the edges had baked. I did taste the baked part and it was delicious but definitely needs way more baking. My guess is that the crispy top was cleaning off the tester as I pulled it out.
