CREAM OF BROCCOLI SOUP 
2 lb. broccoli
1 c. butter
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 c. onions
2/3 c. flour
7 c. water
6 chicken bouillon cubes
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 c. heavy cream

Bring water to boil. Add bouillon cubes, salt and broccoli. Cook until tender. Simmer.

In skillet saute butter, lemon juice, onion and pepper. Cook onions until tender. Gradually stir in flour into onion mixture (I use a wire whip). Put onions and flour mixture slowly into broccoli mixture stirring constantly. Add cream and heat until thickened.
