TWO BEEF AND CHEESE CRESCENT
PIES
 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/3 c. chopped onions
1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 to 2 c. green beans
1/2 tsp. cumin seed
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. salt

Brown meat, onions and green pepper, drain. Stir in rest of filling ingredients. Simmer while preparing crusts.

CRUST:

2 cans crescent rolls (big can)
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese or Monterey cheese
2 eggs
Paprika

Put 1 can crescent rolls into 9 inch pie pan (ungreased), press to pan. Mix 1 egg slightly beaten and 1 cup cheese. Spread over crust. Repeat for other pie.

Divide meat into 2 crusts. Add rest of cheese to tops of crusts. Sprinkle each with paprika. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
