BEEF AND BEAN CRESCENT PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 (8 oz.) can Pillsbury refrigerated quick crescent rolls
4 slices American or Cheddar cheese, cut in half
1/2 tsp. Tabasco pepper sauce
1 (16 oz. or 1 3/4 c.) can pork and beans
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In fry pan, brown beef and onion; drain. Stir in salt, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, pork and beans and tomato paste. Simmer while preparing crust, stirring occasionally.

Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles. Arrange triangles in a 9 or 10 inch pie pan, spoke fashion, with narrow tips of triangles extending over pan 4 inches. Press dough over bottom of pan.

Spoon meat mixture into crust. Top with cheese slices. Bring tips of dough over filling to center. Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
