12 pieces smoked turkey butts 32 oz. can crushed tomatoes 2 (16 oz.) cans whole hominy 1 lb. bag dried baby lima beans (soak in water overnight with Arm & Hammer baking soda) 2 lg. onions 3 bell peppers 1/2 tbsp. salt 1/2 tbsp. Season All 1/2 tbsp. black pepper In a double boiler pan pour a gallon of water. Place meat in pan. Boil until it is tender. Add the drained water from lima beans. Add beans. When they are tender, add the other ingredients. Cook under medium heat and let simmer for 30 minutes. |
