GLAZED YAMS 
2 cans yams, drained
1/2 c. Karo light or dark syrup
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Arrange yams in a single layer baking dish. Bake in 325 degree oven for 15 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes. Pour over yams, bake and baste frequently, 15 minutes longer or until glazed.
