FROMAGE BEEF PIE 
1 lb. extra lean ground beef
6 oz. box seasoned croutons
1 (4 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tsp. instant minced onion
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. sliced fresh or canned mushrooms
1 green pepper, chopped
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 tomato, sliced

Combine beef, 1 cup croutons, tomato sauce, onion, salt and 1 egg. Press onto sides and bottom of 9-inch pie pan. Mix remaining croutons, egg, mushrooms, green pepper, and cheese.

Arrange tomato slices and crouton mixture over beef crust. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Yield: 6 servings.
