I made this tonight for my family & it was very good. My suggestion would be not to add an entire inch of water, I had to drain some of the water away. I covered it with foil then removed the foil when it was time to add the BBQ sauce. I then put it back in for 5-6 minutes then put on broil for 2 minutes. Everyone's oven is different. They came out very tender & juicy. My son loved the onions.

No left overs, enough said. Haha no joke though, this recipe is amazing. I'm visiting my parents for the week and decided to make them dinner for a surprise when they got home. It was gone so fast it was unbelievable. ah-maz-ing.

To everyone wondering... yes, cover them while cooking. Drain water before adding bbq sauce then finish cooking uncovered... delicious. Can also substitute boneless country style pork ribs... yummy!

I didn't have any onion on hand so used onion powder and garlic powder along with the salt and pepper, and they are the most amazing pork chops I've ever eaten. They dried out too much the first time I made them with the bbq sauce, and honestly the bbq wasn't even needed and, to me, detracted from the flavor. We rarely eat pork, but I'm making them again tonight only a week later!

I made this recipe and it turned out fabulous.. I didnt have any onions so I substituted for onion powder.. I drained a little of the water 10 minutes before adding the bbq sauce. Pork Chops were so good that my husband went for seconds!! Easy Recipe.. will make again!

I tried this recipe because I wanted to do something new and it happened to use ingredients I had on hand. I didn't have any tin foil on hand so I cooked my chops uncovered. I did transfer the chops to a new pan before coating in the bbq sauce, and I broiled for about four minutes on each side.

For myself, I wasn't super impressed. They were good but didn't come out quite as tender as I expected - that may have been because of a lack of tinfoil though. But my brothers, who are incredibly picky, loved them and wanted more when they were all gone. I give this recipe five stars for that alone : )

I was looking for something easy and delicious to make for my husband and I and this was most definitely the best choice. The pork chops where so tender and so flavorful. I did however modify the recipe a bit. I seasoned them with seasoning salt, garlic power, and pepper. I also half water and half beer. Everything else was the same. Hands down the easiest and best BBQ pork chops we have ever had.

I tried this recipe. Unfortunately I did not add the barbeque sauce, because the pork chops were good with just the black pepper, salt and onions. Maybe next time!

Just tried your recipe generally I pan fry saute or grill pork chops but my mother wanted me to bake them. I am in culinary school so I know a little about how food is meant to look and taste and I just have to say you did a wonderful job. These turned out really great....
