3 c. sugar
3/4 c. Karo syrup
1/2 c. water
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
4 3/4 c. nuts

Cook sugar and water and Karo until it forms soft ball in cold water or when a spoon dipped into hot syrup makes a good thread. Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually add syrup continuing to beat. Add vanilla and nut meats. Beat until thick and drop by spoonsful onto wax paper.
