APPLE PIE PIZZA 
1 round pizza pan
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. + 1 tbsp. Crisco
2 tbsp. cold water

FILLING:

5 apples, peeled & sliced
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

TOPPING:

3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 stick unsalted butter

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Make pie crust. Cut shortening into flour and salt. When coarse, add 2 tablespoons cold water and blend to make soft dough. Roll out and place in pizza pan.

Place apple slices on top of pie in a fairly flat layer. Mix sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg together and sprinkle on apple slices evenly.

TOPPING: Using a pastry blender (or 2 knives) cut butter into flour and sugar. When it looks like coarse meal, sprinkle on top of apples. Bake 10 minutes at 450 degrees. Reduce to 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
