OATMEAL BREAD 
1 1/4 c. oats (whole rolled)
2 1/2 c. water, boiling
3/4 oz. yeast
1/2 c. lukewarm water
1 1/4 tbsp. salt
5/8 c. sugar or honey
1/8 c. molasses
5/8 c. vegetable oil
7 c. white enriched flour

Mix oats with 2 1/2 cups boiling water. Let stand 1/2 hour to cool. Add yeast to 1/2 cup lukewarm water. Mix oats and yeast. Add salt, honey (or sugar), molasses and oil. Slowly add flour and knead. Let rise until double. Punch down and shape into 3 loaves. Put into greased pans and let rise until firm and full. Bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees.
