EGG AND SAUSAGE BREAKFAST CASSEROLE | |
6 eggs 6 slices white bread 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 c. grated cheese 2 c. milk 1 tsp. salt 1 lb. bulk sausage or 1 lb. bacon in 1-inch pieces 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms (optional) Brown sausage and crumble or brown bacon pieces. Drain meat. Beat eggs. Add cubed bread, milk, salt and mustard. Add cheese, mushrooms and meat. Place in greased 8x12 inch casserole dish. Refrigerate overnight. Bake 30 minutes at 325 degrees. Set out 5 minutes before serving. |
