2 c. sugar
2 c. water
7 tbsp. cornstarch

Mix and cook until thick, stirring constantly. Add 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry Jello and a few drops of red food coloring.

Have 2 baked deep dish pie crusts ready. Fill with fresh strawberries and pour mixture over them. Chill and top with whipped cream.
