PEANUT BUTTER CHIP FUDGIES 
4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1/4 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. peanut butter chips
Granulated sugar for rolling cookies

Melt chocolate and butter in large, heavy saucepan. Remove and cool slightly. Beat in sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly. Stir in vanilla. Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Stir into chocolate mixture. Fold in peanut butter chips and chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Shape dough into one inch balls. Have kids roll balls in granulated sugar. Arrange on ungreased, shiny baking sheets and bake at 300 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes. Cool on wire racks and store in airtight containers. Makes 4 dozen.
