RAILROAD PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 can tomato soup
1 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
1 can kernel corn

TOPPING:

3/4 c. plain meal
3/4 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1/2 c. buttermilk

Brown meat and onion together. Add other ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes. Place in 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Spoon topping over top and bake 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees.
