RHUBARB PIE 
3 c. cut up rhubarb
1 1/4 c. cream
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 egg yolks
1 unbaked pie crust

Put the rhubarb into pie crust. Mix together rest of the ingredients and pour over rhubarb. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes and then turn down to 350 degrees and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.

MERINGUE:

4 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 c. sugar

Beat egg whites with cream of tartar, then add the sugar and beat until soft peaks form. Spread on pie and brown at 375 to 400 degrees for 5 minutes.
