1 c. butter
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. applesauce
3 c. plain flour
1 c. raisins
1 c. pecans
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
4X sugar

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Mix all ingredients. Bake in tube pan which has been greased and floured, for 35 minutes. Sprinkle 4X sugar over warm cake. Cool before serving.
