APPLESAUCE SPICE CAKE 
1 c. (1/2 lb.) butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. Motts natural applesauce
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. each chopped nutmeats & raisins

Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, applesauce and beat well. Combine dry ingredients, stir into the applesauce mixture. Add nuts and raisins. Pour into two greased and floured 9" x 1 1/2" round cake pans. Bake in 325 degree oven 1 hour or until cake shrinks from sides of pan. Cool in pan 30 minutes.

FROSTING: Cream cheese or your favorite frosting.
