ROSEMARY'S SUGAR COOKIES | |
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1 c. butter, softened 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. almond extract 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cream of tartar Mix together first 5 ingredients. Mix in remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Divide dough into halves. Roll each half 3/16 inch thick on lightly floured cloth board. Cut into shapes. Bake until edges are light brown, 7 to 8 minutes. About 5 dozen 2 inch cookies. |
