2 c. firmly packed, cooked whole wheat pasta 2 eggs 1 garlic clove, minced 1 tbsp. brewers yeast 1 tsp. bonemeal 2/3 c. water 1/3 c. powdered milk 1/4 c. olive oil 2 c. whole wheat flour Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Stir until moist. Turn out onto floured board and knead in 1 1/2 cups flour to make a smooth dough. roll out to 1/2 inch thick. Cut into desired shape suitable for your size of dog. Place on cookie sheet and poke a few holes down the center. Place in preheated oven. After baking for 20 minutes, lower heat to 350 degrees. Turn biscuits after baking for 30 minutes and continue baking until desired hardness (1 1/2 hours). Leftover lasagne, spaghetti, fettucini, or any pasta dish may be substituted for the whole wheat pasta. |
