GARLIC PORK | |
4 lb. boneless pork, cooked as for stew 2 boxes fresh garlic 1 tsp. oregano 1/8 tsp. black pepper 1 lg. onion, cut up fine 1 bottle vinegar 1/8 tsp. salt In large pan (or jar), put pork in; cut up garlic and onions in bits. Mix all ingredients with pork. Cover pork with vinegar. Let set for at least 5 days. Put a small amount of oil in pan. Take pork, onions and garlic out of vinegar and fry. Serve with aniseed bread or rye bread. This delicious recipe is served for breakfast at Christmas. |
