CHESS PIE 
1 3/4 c. sugar
1/8 c. white corn meal
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. milk
9" unbaked pie crust

Cream sugar with corn meal, flour, butter, nutmeg, salt and vanilla; add eggs and milk. Set aside for 1 hour; pour into pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
