BAKED BEANS | |
2 cans dried limas 1 can kidney beans 4 onions, sliced 8 slices of bacon 1 c. vinegar 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 can baby limas (green) 1 can Boston Baked Beans 1 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dry mustard Brown bacon. Remove from pan. In bacon drippings, brown sliced onions. Add brown sugar, salt, dry mustard, garlic powder and vinegar to onions, simmer for 20 minutes. Combine bacon with beans and pour onion mixture over beans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. This mixture is best if baked ahead of time and reheated before serving. |
