FRANKFURTER CASSEROLE | |
1/4 c. vegetable oil 4 green peppers, cut in strips 1 (20 oz.) can tomatoes 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. paprika 3 onions, coarsely chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 2 tsp. caraway seed 1/2 tsp. black pepper 1 1/2 lb. frankfurters Cut frankfurters into 1-inch pieces. Heat oil in a skillet and saute onions until lightly brown. Add green peppers and garlic. Cover and cook over low heat for about 5 minutes. Mix in tomatoes, caraway seed, salt, pepper and paprika. Bring to a boil. Cover and cook over a low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add frankfurters, and cook for 10 more minutes. |
