APPLE CRISP WITH ORANGE JUICE 
4 c. sliced, pared apples
1/4 c. orange juice
1 c. sugar - more sugar, optional
3/4 c. flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 dash of salt
1/3 c. butter

Mound apples in buttered pie plate and pour orange juice over them.

In separate bowl combine sugar, flour, spices and salt; cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is crisp.

Serve warm with cream.
