EASIEST CHERRY CAKE 
1 (14 oz.) can crushed pineapple
2 (20 oz.) cans cherry pie filling
1 box white or yellow cake mix
Nuts, coconut or whipped topping
1 1/4 stick butter

Non stick spray or grease with shortening. Spread crushed pineapple in pan. Sprinkle cake mix over pineapple and cherry pie filling. Add 1/2 cup nuts or coconut on top. Dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until golden brown. Top with whipped topping, if desired.
