1 pretty red apple
1 egg white
1 c. sugar

Grate apple skin included. Add sugar and egg white and beat at high speed about 15 minutes. Add about a cap of vanilla. Spread on flat cake. May sprinkle with coconut or chopped nuts. Banana or a cup of jam may be substituted for the apple.
