UNCOOKED FREEZER JAM | |
3 qts. berries or to equal 3 c. 5 c. sugar Combine and stir (crush berries). Let stand 20 minutes or until sugar dissolves. Mix 1 package Sure Jell and 3/4 cup water; bring to full boil for 1 minute. Add Sure Jell solution to berries; stir 2 minutes. Put into jars or freezer boxes. Let stand out 24 hours and freeze. Yield: 3 1/2 pints. Fruits which can be used: Strawberries, raspberries, blackberries. Peaches and apricots are good, but rather thin - good for ice cream topping. |
