Clean and stem 1 quart strawberries. Crush (in small amounts) and put into big bowl. stir in 2 cups crushed strawberries and 4 cups sugar (level cups) and set aside for 10 minutes.
Mix 3/4 cup water and 1 box Sure-Jell pectin in small saucepan. Bring mixture to a full rolling boil over high heat stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute. Stir Sure-Jell mixture into fruit mixture. Stir constantly for 3 minutes.
Fill containers immediately to 1/2 inch of tops. Wipe off top edges and cover immediately with lids. Let stand at room temperature for 24 hours, store in freezer until opened. After opening, store in refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
