BANANA BRAN BREAD 
1 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1 egg
1/4 c. honey
1 1/2 c. bran (or bran cereal)
1 c. banana, mashed
1/2 c. butter, melted

Preheat oven 400 degrees. Grease a 9 inch square pan.

Sift flour and baking powder in a bowl. Combine bran, milk, honey and banana in another bowl; let stand a few minutes for bran to moisten. Beat in egg and butter. Stir in flour mixture just until flour is moistened. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
