BANANA ALL - BRAN NUT BREAD | |
1/2 c. shortening 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 2 c. Kellogg's all bran 2 1/2 c. flour 4 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 c. nuts 2 c. mashed bananas 1 tsp. vanilla Cream the shortening and sugar; add the eggs and beat well. Stir in the all- bran. Sift the remaining dry ingredients and mix with the chopped nuts. Add alternately with the mashed bananas to the creamed mixture. Add the vanilla. Put into two small greased loaf pans and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. |
