MOM'S BANANA BRAN BREAD 
1 1/3 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. orange juice
1 egg, beaten
1/3 c. oil
2 c. natural bran flakes
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add bananas, sugar, orange juice, egg and oil. Stir until flour is moistened. Mix in bran flakes and nuts. Bake in greased 9x5 inch pan at 350 degrees for 50 minutes until tester comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan. For easy slicing, wrap and store overnight.
