BANANA BRAN BREAD 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. mashed ripe bananas
1 1/2 c. all-bran cereal
1/2 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix together flour, baking powder, soda and salt. In separate bowl, combine bananas and cereal; let stand 2 minutes. In large bowl, beat butter and sugar together. Add eggs and cereal to mixture. Mix well. Add flour mixture and nuts. Put in greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.

Bake at 350°F about one hour, until it tests done. Cool 10 minutes before removing from the pan. Cool on a rack.
