1 lb. ground turkey 1/4 c. dehydrated onions 1 1/4 tsp. chili powder 1 tsp. cumin 1/4 tsp. paprika 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1 1/2 tbsp. butter 2/3 c. skim milk 10 oz. process cheese (but not cheddar it will lump) 12 oz. bag unsalted whole grain or enriched taco chips Brown meat with onions. Drain off fat. Stir in seasonings. Add milk, cheese and butter stirring frequently over medium heat until cheese is melted approximately 10 minutes. Do not boil. To maintain best consistency serve immediately over chips. If desired garnish with chopped tomatoes, black olives and/or green peppers. Approximately 10 servings. 320 calories per serving. |
