CHOP SUEY 
4 c. celery

3 c. onion, both cut up

2 c. chop suey meat (approx. 1 lb. veal & pork cut sm. or 1 lb. ground turkey)

1 sm. can mushrooms

1 (14 oz.) size can bean sprouts

1 tbsp. brown sugar

4 tbsp. flour

1 tbsp. soy sauce

Salt & pepper

Chow mein noodles

Rice

Cook celery and onions in a little water until tender; do not drain. Fry meat until done and lightly browned. Make a thickening of the flour, brown sugar, soy sauce, salt and pepper; adding water. Add mushrooms, celery, onions and thickening to the meat. Add well drained bean sprouts last, warm thoroughly. Serve along with chow mein noodles, cooked rice and soy sauce.
