SOPAIPILLAS 
4 c. sifted flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. lard
Cold water
Oil for frying

In a bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt. Blend in lard. Add enough water to make a soft dough. Roll out dough to pie crust thickness; cut into 3 inch squares. Deep fry in hot fat until golden. Serve warm with honey. May sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
