COUNTRY STYLE CHICKEN KIEV 
2/3 c. butter
1/2 c. fine bread crumbs
2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. each basil leaves and oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. salt
2 split chicken breasts (1 1/2 lbs.)
1/4 c. dry white wine or apple juice
1/4 c. chopped green onion
1/4 c. chopped parsley

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In heavy saucepan melt butter. On piece of waxed paper combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, garlic salt and salt. Dip chicken breasts in melted butter, then dip in crumb mixture to coat. Place in ungreased baking dish. Bake near center of oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until golden brown. Meanwhile, add wine (or juice), green onion and parsley to remaining melted butter (about 1/4 cup). When chicken is golden brown, pour butter sauce mixture around and over chicken. Return to oven for 5 minutes or just until sauce is hot. Serve with sauce spooned over chicken
