TRADITIONAL YELLOW RICE 
1 1/2 c. rice
3 c. water
Pinch cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. turmeric
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
Handful raisins

Bring to boil. Cover. Simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is soft.
