FRESH PECAN PIE | |
4 oz. bourbon 1 1/4 c. chopped pecans 4 eggs 1 c. sugar 6 oz. dark corn syrup 2 oz. light corn syrup 4 oz. melted butter 1 tsp. vanilla 10 oz. chocolate chips 2 (8 inch) pie crusts Soak pecans in good bourbon for 2 hours, turning. Mix eggs with sugar until smooth. Slowly add corn syrup and melted butter and vanilla. Let stand 4 minutes, then add chocolate chips and soaked pecans (add a little of the bourbon). Bake at 325 for 40 minutes until crust is golden brown. |
