1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. crunchy peanut butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 c. flour
1 c. chocolate chips

Beat butter and peanut butter. Add brown sugar and egg; mix well. Combine dry ingredients and add to mixture. Dough will be stiff. Stir in chocolate chips. Shape dough into balls and put on ungreased cookie sheet. Criss-cross with tines of fork. Bake in 375 degree oven for 8-10 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet. Makes approximately 36 cookies.
