PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE CHIP
COOKIES
 
2 1/4 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. smooth peanut butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 pkg. (6 oz.) semi sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. beat peanut butter, shortening and sugar in bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in milk and vanilla. With mixer at low speed, beat in dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop dough by teaspoons onto cookie sheet. Bake 11 to 13 minutes until brown. Cool on wire racks.
