1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. butter flavored shortening
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
2/3 c. cocoa
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. peanut butter chips (12 oz. pkg.)

Cream butter and shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. In separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in peanut chips. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
