BREAD PUDDING AND LEMON SAUCE 
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 to 2 tsp. vanilla
1 loaf day old French bread
1 qt. milk
A few raisins

FOR SAUCE:

1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 stick butter
1 tbsp. and 4 tbsp. fresh lemon juice

For pudding: Break French bread in pieces and put in a lightly greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Add together and mix next 4 ingredients. Add a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg to this mixture to own taste. Put raisins down into bread and pour mixture over bread. Press together with fingers. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cut into small squares and serve with hot sauce.

For sauce: Melt butter. Add powdered sugar and small amount of water (for thin sauce). Add 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice and blend until smooth.
