1 med. size cabbage, shredded, (about 8 cups) 1 med. carrot, shredded 1/4 c. onion, finely chopped 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped 1 tsp. prepared mustard 1/3 c. sweet pickle relish Salt & white pepper to taste 2 tbsp. vinegar 2 tbsp. sugar Dash of hot sauce 3/4 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing Toss cabbage, carrot, onion and green pepper in large bowl. Combine mayonnaise, mustard, pickle relish, vinegar, sugar, hot sauce, salt and pepper. Pour over cabbage mixture and toss. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Yields 8 servings. |
