SWISS STEAK IN FOIL | |
1 c. ketchup 1/4 c. flour 2 lb. round steak, 1 inch thick 1 onion 2 tbsp. lemon juice Line 9x13 pan with foil. Mix ketchup and flour. Spoon 1/2 mixture in center of foil. Place steak on top, season with salt and pepper. Cover meat with onion slices and remaining ketchup mixture. Sprinkle lemon juice. Fold foil over and seal edges. bake in very hot oven 450 degrees for 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Remove foil, cut in pieces and serve with rice or potatoes. 5-6 servings. |
