APPLE DUMPLINGS 
4 lg. Granny Smith apples
1 lg. can Hungry Jack biscuits
1 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 stick butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Ground cinnamon

Peel, core and slice each apple into 8 slices. Pull apart each biscuit into 3 flaky stacks. Wrap each apple slice with 1/3 of a biscuit stretched to fit around apple slice. Place wrapped apple slices in greased baking dish. In saucepan, bring to boil water, butter and sugar. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour over wrapped apples and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
