COUNTRY STYLE SPARERIBS | |
4 lb. spareribs 2 c. water 1/2 c. onions 1 c. ketchup 1/2 c. vinegar 2 1/2 tbsp. sugar 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. dry mustard Place spareribs in shallow baking pan with a rack on bottom. Add water. Cover and bake at 300 degrees for approximately 2 hours. While ribs are cooking, chop the onion and combine with rest of ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring well. Drain fat from ribs and pour the hot sauce over them. Place ribs on middle rack under broiler and cook for about 20 minutes, turning once. |
