CHICKEN AND MUSHROOMS COUNTRY
STYLE
 
2 ribs chopped celery
2 diced carrots
1 chopped onion
Parsley, thyme, peppercorns
1 tsp. salt
1 MBT chicken bouillon

Cover chicken with water and these ingredients. After simmering for 30 to 45 minutes. Remove chicken. Pour stock into a jar. Return vegetables, mushrooms and chopped bacon to pot. 1/2 lb. bacon, cut up in 1 inch pieces

Saute; add about 2 or 3 tablespoons Wondra and a little stock to make gravy. Add one can cream of mushroom soup, more stock; Kitchen Bouquet (dash) and sherry. Add more stock until gravy is desired consistency. Return chicken to pot and simmer.
