1 c. shortening or 1/2 c. shortening & 1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream all of these together. Roll in small balls in sugar and cinnamon. Bake on greased cookie sheet 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees. Double recipe = 11 dozen or 132 cookies.
