BEEF NOODLE CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 3/4 c. (14 1/2 oz. can) tomatoes, undrained and chopped 1 1/3 c. (10 1/2 oz. can) condensed beef broth 3/4 c. (4 oz. can) sliced mushrooms, drained 1 tsp. garlic powder 6 c. (8 oz.) wide egg noodles, uncooked 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese Brown ground beef, green pepper, and onion in 10 inch skillet until onion is tender; drain off excess fat. Stir in tomatoes with liquid, beef broth, mushrooms, garlic powder, and pepper. Simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes. Meanwhile, cook egg noodles according to package directions; drain. Combine noodles, beef mixture, and Mozzarella cheese in 3 quart casserole. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly. |
